Primary Job Duties Systems Engineer We are seeking a Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our corporate computing infrastructure. This is a hybrid position requiring applicants to be within commuting distance of our physical datacenter facilities near St. George, UT.
Responsibilities
Design / Implement / Maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Windows Server 2019/2022 environments.
Design / Implement / Maintain Microsoft 365, Exchange Hybrid / Exchange Online, and Azure cloud services.
Design / Implement / Maintain NetApp MetroCluster AFF storage and configuration (NFS, iSCSI, CIFS, FC).
Design / Implement / Maintain VMware virtualization platforms and high‑availability Dell server hardware.
Design / Implement / Maintain SQL Clusters, Linux/Unix distributions, and PKI infrastructure.
Design / Implement / Maintain data backup solutions and business continuity technologies.
Design / Implement / Maintain endpoint security tooling including EDR, network segmentation, and identity protection platforms.
Design / Implement / Maintain Microsoft Teams, Intune / Endpoint Manager, and collaboration platforms.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of Systems Administrator experience in a Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) / Active Directory environment.
5+ years of experience administering Windows Server 2019 or 2022.
2+ years of NetApp enterprise storage administration and configuration.
2+ years of VMware administration and configuration.
2+ years of Azure / Microsoft 365 Administration.
2+ years of Exchange Hybrid / Exchange Online Administration.
2+ years of Windows SQL Cluster Administration and configuration.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and follow change management procedures.
Participation in on‑call rotation for critical systems.
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in high‑availability, business‑critical environments.
Available for unscheduled onsite work for operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Bash, Python, or additional scripting languages beyond PowerShell.
Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
Experience with enterprise network security and NAC platforms.
Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
Linux/Unix administration experience (Oracle Enterprise Linux preferred).
Experience in the travel industry or highly available infrastructure.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104).
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP‑DCV).
NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA).
CompTIA Security+.
Physical And Other Requirements
Ability to work after hours in a hybrid remote and commute to headquarters location.
Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk as needed.
