Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
Emerald Aesthetics & Emerald Direct Health – Northwest Arkansas
Emerald Aesthetics and Emerald Direct Health are seeking an experienced and motivated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical team in Northwest Arkansas.
This role offers a unique opportunity to help build and expand a modern dermatology division within our thriving concierge medical and aesthetic practice. Our new 8,000 sq. ft. flagship facility is designed to house direct primary care, advanced aesthetics, and dermatology services under one roof.
We are looking for a provider who is passionate about high-quality patient care, clinical excellence, and long-term growth within a collaborative team environment.
About Our Practice
Emerald Aesthetics and Emerald Direct Health are physician-owned practices founded by Dr. Tony Meloy and Layne Meloy, RN. Over the past five years, we have built a reputation in Northwest Arkansas for delivering luxury patient experiences paired with evidence-based medical care.
Our practice combines:
• Direct Primary Care
• Advanced Medical Aesthetics
• Preventative & Wellness Medicine
• Dermatology (expanding division)
Our patient base is highly engaged and rapidly growing, creating strong demand for dermatologic services.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and skin examinations
• Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and infections
• Evaluate and manage suspicious skin lesions and skin cancers
• Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
• Conduct annual skin cancer screenings and preventative dermatology visits
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
• Educate patients on skin health, prevention, and treatment options
• Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical team regarding patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR
• Contribute to development and growth of the dermatology service line within the practice
Qualifications
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arkansas (or ability to obtain)
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP
• Dermatology experience required. 2+ years preferred
• Experience performing dermatologic procedures such as biopsies and lesion removal preferred
• Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a physician-led team
• Passion for patient care and building long-term patient relationships
