A career as a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor in the Operational Cybersecurity team at National Bank means serving as a cryptography and operational security specialist. This position allows you to have a concrete impact on the protection of sensitive data and the stability of the Bank's critical services thanks to your knowledge of cryptography, regulated environments and the operation of security platforms.


Your job

  • Operationalise and operate cryptographic platforms that support critical services across the Bank.
  • Maintain, upgrade and optimise cryptographic services to strengthen the chain of trust and protect sensitive data.
  • Document, analyse and improve cryptography-related operational processes for both current and target environments.
  • Integrate with hardware cryptographic equipment and ensure its stability and compliance.
  • Apply the cybersecurity controls required in environments subject to regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to payments.
  • Participate in the team's agile events, post-incident analyses and cryptographic ceremonies by rigourously documenting implementation procedures.

Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s degree and five to eight years of relevant experience in cryptography and information technology security.
  • Significant experience in card payment environments and regulated contexts
  • Expertise in certificate management, chain of trust and certification authorities.
  • Practical experience with security hardware modules, such as Utimaco, Thales or equivalent technologies.
  • Proficiency in observability and logging tools used in operational security situations.
  • Understand the security requirements related to payment standards and their technical application in complex environments.
