*Flexible Location (Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee)*
At Thorntons Law, every moment matters. Join us as a CRM Lead and you’ll feel inspired. You’ll feel connected. You’ll feel like you belong. And it all begins from the moment you join us.
That’s because we’ve created a different kind of law firm. Here, you’ll build relationships with clients and colleagues that really last. You’ll help shape what happens now, and what comes next. And we’ll support and encourage you to be the best you can be.
This is what life at Thorntons is all about. And this is your moment to be part of it.
*About the role*
As CRM Lead, you will play a central role in ensuring Thorntons’ client relationship data is accurate, insightful and effectively used to support marketing, business development, and client engagement. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Business Development teams, and colleagues across the firm, you will help make the CRM system a trusted and practical tool for campaigns, reporting, and growth initiatives.
This role combines maintaining CRM data quality, analysing insights, and collaborating with colleagues to inform decisions, improve processes, and strengthen client relationships. You will also support teams in using the CRM system confidently, promoting best practice, and helping the firm get the most value from its client information.
It’s about:
* *Data Quality & Management* – Ensuring CRM data is accurate, complete and consistent, applying standards and best practice across the system, while supporting agreed data governance, privacy and compliance requirements.
* *Insights & Reporting* – Building and maintaining CRM segments and distribution reports that provide actionable insight to support campaigns and business development priorities and producing dashboards and reports that highlight trends, opportunities and pipeline activity.
* *Campaign Support & CRM Activation* – Managing workflows and communications to ensure targeted campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively while monitoring campaign performance metrics to inform future activity.
* *Support growth* - translate business objectives into effective CRM activity in partnership with Digital Marketing, BD and fee-earner teams.
* *Training & User Support* – Providing guidance, training and resources to colleagues to enable confident, consistent use of the CRM system.
* *Client Service & Onboarding* – Collaborating with colleagues to optimise CRM-enabled processes that improve client onboarding, engagement, and relationship management.
* *Pipeline Management & BD Reporting* – Supporting opportunity tracking, pipeline management and activity reporting to inform partner and BD decision-making.
* *Process Improvement & System Optimisation* – Identifying ways to enhance CRM processes, functionality and overall value to the firm.
* *Stakeholder Collaboration* – building strong relationships across the firm and working closely with leadership, business teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality communication initiatives.
*What you’ll need*
We’re looking for:
