My client is looking for an experienced Vendor Manager to join their team. The Vendor Management Lead is responsible for overseeing performance, relationships, and risk management across strategic IT outsourcing partners. This role manages one or more high-value vendor relationships and ensures that organizational objectives are achieved through strong collaboration and effective governance of external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with key outsourcing partners
Implement governance frameworks and performance tracking (KPIs/SLAs)
Oversee vendor spend, invoicing, and reporting
Act as escalation point for vendor issues and disputes
Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement
Identify and manage supplier risks
Support vendor selection, contract negotiation, and procurement activities
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver partner engagement plans
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years' relevant professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships across the full contract lifecycle
Strong understanding of IT services and outsourcing delivery models
Knowledge of the global outsourcing market, key players, and industry trends
Familiarity with best practices, methodologies, and xcfaprz processes in IT supplier/vendor management
Understanding of internal and external decision-making processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to align business requirements and vendor delivery
Experience with contract pricing models, service performance management, and innovation trends
Proven experience managing outsourcing budgets and contract financials
Certification or practical experience in ITIL within large-scale IT environments
