Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients promptly and professionally upon arrival

- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency

- Collect co-pays and process payments accurately

- Update and maintain patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system

- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service

- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient care and communication

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred

- Minimum 6 months previous experience in a medical office or patient access office setting performing check-in functions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills
