A growing technology company that develops hardware, software, and connected solutions for safer, healthier, and more sustainable homes is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Contract) to lead the development of a new connectivity product.

This organization delivers trusted solutions that help people live independently and safely in their homes. As the company continues to expand its product portfolio, this role will play a key part in bringing innovative products from initial concept through to market launch.
This is a daily rate contract position, requiring a highly experienced professional with strong technical and product development expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management of a new connected product solution.
- Manage product development from concept, feasibility, research & development, prototyping, and manufacturing through to market launch.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, hardware, software, and manufacturing.
- Support technical feasibility assessments and early-stage product concept development.
- Work closely with external contractors, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure alignment between technical development, product strategy, and commercial launch plans.
- Provide strong leadership and clear communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience managing electronics-based product development from concept through to launch.
- Strong Research & Development (R&D) background.
- Experience working with hardware and electronics engineering teams.
- Strong engineering understanding or technical aptitude.
- Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with external contractors and manufacturing partners.
