You will take the lead on the delivery of large‑scale battery energy storage projects, managing the full project lifecycle from initial development and design coordination through to construction, energisation and handover. These are technically involved projects requiring close coordination across electrical engineering, civil works, grid connection, commissioning and regulatory functions, often on tight programmes in a sector that moves quickly.

The team you will be working within operates in a collaborative, high‑performance environment where senior professionals are trusted to run their own projects while being well‑supported by leadership and technical specialists. Based in Dublin, you will work across project sites in Ireland, engaging regularly with clients, grid operators, design consultants, statutory bodies and key subcontractors throughout each project's delivery. The role carries genuine seniority and visibility, with direct client‑facing responsibility and involvement in the strategic direction of projects at the most important stages of delivery.

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale BESS projects from development and design through to construction, commissioning and grid energisation
• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies and resource plans to ensure delivery on time and within cost
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including electrical engineering, civil works, commissioning and health and safety functions
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong working relationships and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee contract administration, risk management, change control and project reporting at a senior level
• Manage interfaces with grid operators, DNOs and statutory bodies in relation to connection agreements and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all project activities are carried out in full compliance with relevant health, safety and technical standards
• Support business development activity including tendering, bid preparation and client engagement as required
• Mentor and develop junior project management staff within the wider delivery team

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering electrical infrastructure, energy storage, renewables or power projects
• Strong electrical infrastructure background — this is essential; direct BESS or grid‑scale storage experience is highly advantageous
• Solid understanding of grid connection processes, HV systems and the technical requirements associated with large‑scale energy storage projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary project teams and multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and programmes at a senior level
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, commercial and regulatory audiences
• Relevant engineering qualification and/or project management accreditation preferred
