Location: Office-based - Bromsgrove Head Office
Contract: Full-time, permanent (35 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

We are excited to invite an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove!

Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Purchase Ledger Manager, you will:

  • Manage purchase ledger systems, processes, and controls
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a dedicated purchase ledger team (3 staff)
  • Train and educate purchase order users with enthusiasm
  • Ensure timely weekly supplier payment processing and authorization
  • Resolve queries from suppliers and internal departments
  • Reconcile monthly statements from suppliers
  • Assist with month-end procedures and year-end accounts
  • Monitor and enhance internal processes for efficiency
  • Review and address any potentially fraudulent or duplicated invoices
  • Maintain robust fraud prevention controls, including supplier verification
  • Produce and review aged creditor reports for timely resolution
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger, including purchase order systems
  • Leadership or people development experience
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A collaborative team spirit
