In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, deploying, and supporting various database infrastructures. Your expertise will be vital in developing reliable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and system reliability in distributed production environments. You will work closely with a talented team, ensuring seamless delivery of services that allow millions of users to connect across the globe. Accountabilities
Design and support critical database infrastructure and automation tools. Implement monitoring frameworks to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Manage database replication, backups, and observability platforms. Conduct root cause analysis and apply preventive measures to improve database performance. Script and automate database tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Provide technical guidance across teams for infrastructure decisions. Requirements
7+ years of DBA experience with a track record of delivering business value. Expertise in AWS Aurora DB, DynamoDB/MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch. Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and fault tolerance. Proficiency in Shell, SQL, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins. Familiarity with Linux or Unix-like operating systems. Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Bachelor’s degree (BS/BE) in a related field. Variety of perks and benefits to maintain physical and mental health.
