*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled, dependable Radiologic Technologist who can perform high-quality imaging studies at our fast-paced, patient-centered orthopedic office.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostic radiographs according to provider orders and established protocols.
* Ensure all imaging procedures are completed efficiently while maintaining a high standard of image quality and patient care.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures while adhering to ALARA guidelines to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff and self.
* Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images with minimal repeats.
* Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in safe, proper working order.
* Accurately document patient procedures in EMR.
* Collaborate with physicians, medical/clinical assistants, and other healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow in a busy clinical setting.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Participate in ongoing quality assurance and quality control testing/documentation as required by NJ state standards.
* Maintain equipment as per safety standards.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
* Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and professional knowledge.
*Qualifications*
* Current ARRT (R) certification and NJ Radiologic Technologist license.
* CPR (BLS) certification preferred.
* Experience in diagnostic radiology.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of anatomy knowledge is essential.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
* Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
