As we continue to expand, we are seeking a qualified and compassionate Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with specialized knowledge or a strong interest in ENT medicine to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality ENT care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories related to ENT conditions.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and order necessary tests to determine the nature and extent of patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for ENT disorders.
- Provide patients with education regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Assist in surgical procedures, as needed, under the supervision of licensed physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records using EHR.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay informed about advancements in ENT medicine.
Compliance and Safety:
- Complete all required compliance and safety training.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Assist with quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.
- Follow all regulatory, payer, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Specialization or experience in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) medicine preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Willingness to stay current with advancements in ENT medicine.
Work Conditions:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan.
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide coordinated care.
- Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Manage your own patient caseload and make independent clinical decisions within scope of practice.
- Use electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies to manage care.
- Work primarily in clinic settings with occasional surgical or procedural support.
- Work hours may vary based on patient needs and clinic schedules.
- Engage in continuing education to maintain licensure and clinical competency.
- Serve as an advocate for patients to ensure they receive high-quality, timely care.
