The successful candidate will have strong experience in offshore wind EPCI contracting environments, including major component supply (WTGs, foundations, cables, substations) and offshore installation contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of EPCI contracts.
Manage head contracts and key subcontract agreements across engineering, fabrication, marine operations, and installation.
Ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and communicated to project teams.
Monitor compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout project execution.
Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
Manage change control processes, variations, and contract amendments.
Lead preparation and negotiation of claims, counterclaims, and dispute resolution processes.
Support cost control and margin protection through proactive contract administration.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary contractual interface with clients, consortium partners, and subcontractors.
Support senior management in commercial strategy development.
Provide guidance to project managers, procurement teams, and technical leads on contractual matters.
Procurement & Supply Chain Support
Support procurement strategy for major packages (WTGs, foundations, export cables, array cables, offshore substations, T&I contracts).
Ensure appropriate flow-down of obligations from client contracts into subcontracts.
Contribute to supplier negotiations and commercial evaluations.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate contract records and reporting systems.
Support internal and external audits as required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in contract management within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
Demonstrable EPCI offshore wind project experience.
Strong knowledge of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, LOGIC, BIMCO).
Experience managing marine installation and offshore construction contracts.
Proven experience in claims management and dispute resolution. xcfaprz
