Locums General Surgery coverage
Job Details: February 27, 2026 - Ongoing
• Active NC license required
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Perform adult general surgery procedures including laparoscopic surgeries
• Conduct appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties
• Perform breast surgery procedures
• Handle obstetric & gynecologic surgeries including cesarean sections, D&Cs, and hysterectomies
• Conduct GI endoscopy including upper and lower (sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy)
• Manage minor orthopedics cases
• Perform chest tube insertions
• Manage vascular access devices
• Pediatric surgery experience preferred but not required
• Trauma experience preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
