A Cardiothoracic Surgery locum opportunity is available in York, PA, offering weekend call coverage with APP support in an inpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon seeking consistent, ongoing coverage with a manageable call burden.

• Start Date: May 10, 2026
• Setting: Inpatient Weekend Call Coverage
• Schedule:
  • Friday 12:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM
• Coverage Needed: Approximately 3 weekends per month
• Assignment Type: Ongoing

• Provide cardiothoracic surgery call coverage
• Respond to consults and urgent surgical cases
• Provide backup support after initial consults
• Manage patients from cath lab requiring surgical intervention

• APP support available
• Average callback (including rounding): 2 4 hours
• No TAVR procedures required
• Patients who are stable may be managed until weekday team resumes
• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery
• Comfortable managing urgent cardiothoracic cases and call coverage
• Ability to work collaboratively with APP support
