Master Planner
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Take responsibility for translating long‑term demand plans for all manufactured products to aggregated required hours to optimize site capacity resulting in effective customer service.
Report on planning performance impacting customer fulfilment, emphasize demand variation impacting site capacity and proactively developing appropriate plans to meet business needs.
Partner with planning and materials team to identify short term issues that will impact on plan execution, attainment, inventory levels and material risks.
Lead continuous process improvement and risk management initiatives.
Collaborate and align with internal departments including procurement, finance, warehouse, operations, quality, and global supply chain.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 10 years of relevant work experience in supply chain planning.
Additional Required Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with experience in visual display, reporting to senior leadership and influencing senior stakeholders to desired outcome.
Experience working with ERP, MRP II, MRP, SCP, APS, or DRP systems. Particularly experience using Oracle, ASCP, or SAP.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.).
Proven experience implementing changes to business processes and systems of work.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in supply chain management or operations management from an accredited institution.
APICS CPIM or relevant professional planning association certification.
5 years of relevant work experience in operations, logistics or demand planning in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Excellent understanding of capacity management, inventory management, information, and material flow throughout the supply chain end to end.
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, internal/external suppliers, and fellow team members at all levels.
Familiarity with healthcare supply chain auditing processes and SOX frameworks.
Work Location
Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Athlone (Ireland) at least 3 days per week).
Travel
May include up to 10% domestic/international.
Legal Authorization
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
