We are working with a leading, global based, FMCG organisation that are seeking a Project Manager to join a large-scale digital transformation programme focused on standardising processes across retail, food & beverage, and events operations.
As the programme enters the implementation phase, this role will be critical in ensuring successful delivery by driving clarity, accountability, and progress across all workstreams.
The Project Manager will act as a central point of control, directly managing the Implementation Partner and overseeing end to end programme delivery across multiple sites.
This role is responsible for ensuring all parties deliver against commitments, risks are actively managed, and the programme remains aligned to timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day to day coordination, performance oversight, and governance with the Implementation Partner to ensure delivery against scope, timelines, and quality standards, holding them accountable for outcomes
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and RAID logs, ensuring all internal and external workstreams, including partner teams, are aligned and progressing
Drive delivery of all implementation activities across multiple locations, removing blockers, managing dependencies, and ensuring readiness for go live
Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders, SMEs, leadership, and vendor teams through structured updates and engagement forums
Produce regular status reports, elevate risks/issues with proposed actions, and manage decision-making through established governance structures
Ensure robust change control processes are implemented by the Implementation Partner for solution design and technical changes. xcfaprz Confirm that all technical, operational, and financial impacts are properly assessed, tested, approved, and communicated prior to go live
Support go live, hypercare, retrospectives, and documentation of lessons learned
Objectives of the Role
Coordinate implementation planning and execution across multiple sites to ensure a consistent, standardised rollout
Drive accountability across all workstreams and partner teams to deliver agreed actions and programme milestones
Lead and govern the implementation programme with the Implementation Partner, ensuring timely delivery, high quality outputs, and risk reduction
Analyse project performance and adjust scope, timelines, or resource allocation as required
Build strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, SMEs, and external partners to support adoption and delivery success
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience managing third party implementation partners or vendors within digital transformation programmes
Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and risk-based decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, budgets, and complex timelines with strong attention to detail
Minimum of 3 years’ project management experience
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
Experience in digital transformation or operational technology implementations
Experience coaching and developing team members or partners to improve delivery performance
