We have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer, to join STS Group T&D Division. The position will be located in Ireland. What you will be doing
- Compile commissioning packs for upcoming projects.
- Attend project commissioning kick‑off and co‑ordination meetings.
- Drive the commissioning program.
- Complete project RFI/TQ’s during commissioning and manage the design log process.
- Attend FAT & SAT tests when requested / required.
- Ensure all required site modifications are completed and validate as‑built drawings.
- Completion of commissioning and test documentation throughout project lifespan.
- Configuration of protection relays, RTU, PLC, Power quality meters, and other substation automation systems.
- Assist configuration and testing of SCADA systems.
- Completion of pre‑ and post‑energisation testing.
- Commissioning of primary and secondary equipment on projects.
- Completion and submission of red‑line drawings during commissioning.
- Provide declaration of fitness when commissioning is complete.
- Assist junior commissioning engineers with their development.
Is this the job for me?
- Trade qualification through apprenticeship or engineering qualification.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Flexibility / adaptability.
- IT literacy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Operational experience with test equipment.
