Commissioning Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer, to join STS Group T&D Division. The position will be located in Ireland. • 
  
• Compile commissioning packs for upcoming projects.
  
• Attend project commissioning kick‑off and co‑ordination meetings.
  
• Drive the commissioning program.
  
• Complete project RFI/TQ’s during commissioning and manage the design log process.
  
• Attend FAT & SAT tests when requested / required.
  
• Ensure all required site modifications are completed and validate as‑built drawings.
  
• Completion of commissioning and test documentation throughout project lifespan.
  
• Configuration of protection relays, RTU, PLC, Power quality meters, and other substation automation systems.
  
• Assist configuration and testing of SCADA systems.
  
• Completion of pre‑ and post‑energisation testing.
  
• Commissioning of primary and secondary equipment on projects.
  
• Completion and submission of red‑line drawings during commissioning.
  
• Provide declaration of fitness when commissioning is complete.
  
• Assist junior commissioning engineers with their development.

• Trade qualification through apprenticeship or engineering qualification.
  
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  
• Flexibility / adaptability.
  
• IT literacy.
  
• Strong communication skills.
  
• Operational experience with test equipment.
