Nursery Manager – CherryVale Nursery

Contract: FTC – 12 months
Hours: 42 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
  • Embed and uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations.
  • Promote a key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's developmental stages.
  • Encourage a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice.
  • Address complaints or concerns promptly and inform senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system.
  • Engage in nursery publications, advertising, and marketing activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with your team through an approachable demeanor.

Requirements:
  • Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • Essential: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years.
  • Essential: Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Essential: Over 1 year of management experience.
  • Desirable: Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership.
  • Desirable: Experience successfully passing an Ofsted inspection at a Good or Outstanding level.
