This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of healthcare datasets, and the ability to guide and mentor junior analysts. You will collaborate with executive leadership, clinical teams, and IT to shape data strategy and optimize healthcare delivery across the organization. Essential Functions: Lead complex data analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across clinical and operational workflows. Design and maintain advanced dashboards, predictive models, and business intelligence tools to support executive decision-making. Partner with senior leadership to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions. Conduct rigorous data validation to ensure high-quality, reliable reporting. Mentor and support junior analysts in methodology, data literacy, and technical development. Influence data governance and participate in shaping the organization’s data infrastructure strategy. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, Computer Science). 3+ years of experience in a healthcare analytics role, ideally within a health plan, care delivery organization, or payer setting. Advanced proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python, R, or SAS is a plus. Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Deep knowledge of healthcare claims, EHR data, quality measures (e.g., HEDIS), and risk adjustment models. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Experience leading data analytics projects or managing cross-functional teams. Understanding of value-based care models and population health analytics.
