Role We’re looking for a Data Scientist to take ownership of and develop our statistical modelling capabilities, creating data products to support operational and commercial needs. You’ll be involved end‑to‑end through data curation, model development, and operationalisation, collaborating with teams across data, engineering, operations, trading and more.
Responsibilities
Operations & Finance - Order & Revenue forecasting: take ownership of existing forecasting capabilities to improve factory demand fulfilment efficiency.
Trading - Customer Lifetime Value: partner with trading team to identify key drivers, generate actionable insights through segmentation, predictive modelling and causal analysis, and make recommendations to better align with customer expectations.
Trading & CRM - Churn prediction: take ownership of existing churn models, assess performance, optimise or redevelop, segment across cohorts, and provide guidance to stakeholders on using insights to improve retention.
Ongoing model monitoring: collaborate with analytics engineering to develop a monitoring suite that reports on model health and quickly identifies and corrects aberrations.
Skills you’ll bring
2–4+ years in a data science role with a proven track record of deploying advanced statistical models in production environments using complex, real‑world data.
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with extensive experience using core data science libraries such as pandas/polars and scikit‑learn.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster) for operationalising data science products.
Strong communication skills, able to translate technical insights into clear business recommendations for audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
Skilled in data visualisation and storytelling (e.g. ThoughtSpot, Looker, Tableau).
Experience influencing cross‑functionally with Product, Proposition, Engineering, R&D, and Data teams.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field (highly desirable).
Subscription business experience (highly desirable).
Experience with Snowflake AI/ML and robust data pipelines for scalable production solutions (desirable).
