Join Our Team as a Part-Time Administrator!

Location: Battle, East Sussex

Salary: FTE £23,619.35 | Pro-rata £14,171.61

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 08:30 to 16:30

About Us

Welcome to ISP School, nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex! We specialize in providing education for 7-18 year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs.

Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive, engage, and aspire to achieve their best. We are excited to expand our team and are looking for a dedicated part-time administrator to help us on this journey!

Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our school community. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all children, staff, families, and visitors.
  • Actively engage in initiatives that enhance the quality of life and well-being for our school community.
Daily Tasks:
  • Communicate effectively with staff, professionals, parents, and carers.
  • Welcome visitors and manage school correspondence.
  • Organize and attend meetings, taking minutes as needed.
  • Assist with budget management and petty cash.
  • Maintain school documents using BehaviourWatch.
  • Support the Head Teacher with various tasks as required.

  • Strong organizational abilities and a systematic approach to workload management.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • Experience in developing systems and processes.
  • An understanding of management information systems (a plus).
  • The ability to work within budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to relate well to both children and adults.
