We are looking for an experienced Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team in Cork. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top technical talent across multiple functions, supporting Proofpoint’s continued growth.

You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience while acting as a trusted advisor to the business, helping shape hiring strategies and driving recruitment excellence across the organisation.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs across technical functions
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer stage
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-quality technical talent across software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, security, and related disciplines
  • Build strong pipelines through direct sourcing, market mapping, networking, and talent engagement
  • Provide market insight and hiring intelligence to support decision-making
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process
  • Ensure a consistent, inclusive, and high-quality interview process
  • Collaborate with TA colleagues, HR partners, and business stakeholders to meet hiring goals
  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent Proofpoint in the external talent market
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools, and reporting
What You Bring
  • Proven experience recruiting technical talent in a fast-paced in-house or agency environment
  • Strong understanding of technical xcfaprz roles and hiring markets, particularly within software and cybersecurity
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions across different business areas
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Confidence in direct sourcing and building talent pipelines for niche technical profiles
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to use recruitment metrics to guide decisions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation is advantageous
