Allocate drivers and vehicles efficiently, manage cross-border schedules, and ensure timely deliveries.
Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, and subcontractors while maintaining compliance and accurate records.
Responsibilities Plan and schedule daily transport operations, including domestic and international deliveries Allocate work to drivers and subcontractors, optimising fleet usage for full and part loads Coordinate ferry bookings and cross-border transit schedules Monitor vehicles, respond to delays, and resolve operational issues Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, and external partners Ensure compliance with driver hours, safety regulations, and specialised freight (ADR) Maintain transport records and produce reports Qualifications Experience in transport planning or logistics, ideally with international operations Knowledge of Irish, UK, and EU transport regulations Awareness of ADR/specialised xcfaprz freight handling Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in transport management systems, GPS, and Excel Logistics, supply chain, or business qualification is a plus For a confidential conversation about this opportunity or others in the market, please contact Nicola Murphy.
