firstPRO is now accepting resumes for a Network Engineer in Boston, MA. This is a direct hire role and onsite 3 days per site. Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below. Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of enterprise networking experience in a hands-on operational role. Networking Expertise: Working knowledge of Aruba and/or Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure. Understanding of core routing and switching protocols and concepts (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS). Familiarity with firewall concepts and basic security policy administration. Exposure to AWS and/or Azure networking fundamentals (VPCs/VNets, routing, VPN connectivity). Operations: Experience working within ITIL-aligned change management and incident response processes. Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and documentation. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem resolution. Preferred Experience with Check Point firewalls or Aruba ClearPass NAC. Basic scripting experience (Python, Shell, or PowerShell). Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform) and version control (Git) is a plus, though hands-on development of these skills is expected as part of the role. xywuqvp Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, Aruba Certified Associate, or AWS/Azure networking fundamentals.
