The Sales Support Representative plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team by providing comprehensive administrative and operational support. This position is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating communication between sales, customers, and internal departments to ensure seamless sales operations. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. By supporting the sales team with timely information and logistical assistance, the Sales Support Representative contributes directly to customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Ultimately, this role serves as a vital link that helps drive the overall success of the sales function within the organization. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Proven experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a B2B sales environment. Familiarity with sales order processing and inventory management systems. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles. Additional language skills beyond English. Certification in customer service or sales support. Responsibilities: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Process sales orders accurately and ensure timely delivery by coordinating with logistics and inventory teams. Maintain and update customer records and sales documentation in the CRM system. Assist the sales team by preparing sales reports, presentations, and proposals as needed. Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, finance, and customer service to resolve issues and improve sales processes. Track and follow up on outstanding orders, payments, and customer requests to ensure satisfaction. Support the onboarding of new customers by providing necessary information and assistance. Identify opportunities to streamline sales support processes and recommend improvements. Skills: The Sales Support Representative utilizes strong communication skills daily to interact clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams, ensuring all parties are well-informed and aligned. Organizational skills are essential for managing multiple orders, tracking customer information, and maintaining accurate records within CRM systems. Problem-solving abilities are frequently applied to address customer concerns and resolve order discrepancies efficiently. Proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Office and CRM platforms enables the representative to generate reports, update data, and streamline workflows effectively.
