Communications Lead

We are inviting expressions of interest for a Communications Lead within our Transport Infrastructure (TI) business:

As Amey continues to expand its presence across Ireland — with our new Dublin office launch, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting the mobilisation of major transport infrastructure contracts across Ireland.

Reporting into the Head of Communications - Transport Infrastructure, the Communications Lead will be responsible for delivering integrated, high‑quality communications that ensure a seamless transition during contract mobilisation.

This includes:

• 
  
• Leading the planning and delivery of mobilisation communications activity
  
• Creating compelling content across newsletters, intranet, digital channels, internal comms, and stakeholder briefings
  
• Partnering with operational and strategic stakeholders across Ireland and the UK
  
• Coordinating with internal teams and external partners/agencies
  
• Monitoring and reporting on communications effectiveness throughout the mobilisation lifecycle
  

The role is based in Dublin, offering hybrid working, with occasional travel to sites across Ireland and to UK Amey offices.

Candidates with:

• 
  
• Experience communicating within Irish public‑sector, regulated, or infrastructure settings
  
• Strong understanding of the Irish stakeholder and media landscape
  
• Proven experience delivering internal, change, or mobilisation communications
  
• Excellent writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills
  
• Experience leading communications projects end‑to‑end
  
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to measure and articulate impact
