Are you a Radiology Technologist looking for a role where you can make a real difference for patients every day? At Steindler Orthopedic Clinic (SOC), we’re passionate about providing outstanding care and creating a supportive environment for our team members. We’re currently seeking a skilled, patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our team.
What You’ll Do
As an SOC Radiology Technologist, you’ll play a key role in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for while producing high-quality imaging. Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing quality x-ray exams in dedicated and advanced imaging rooms
* Using EMR and practice management systems with accuracy
* Answering patient questions and listening with compassion
* Managing images: importing, exporting, merging, and securely suppling outside facilities
* Supporting physicians and surgical teams by preparing/faxing surgery lists as needed
* Assisting in fluoroscopy clinic coverage
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-friendly environment in exam, dressing, and waiting rooms
* Collaborating across departments as a true team player—helping wherever needed
* Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, Medicaid, and all regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
* High School diploma or equivalent (required)
* Iowa Department of Public Health license (IDPH) (required)
* Registered Technologist- Radiography (RTR) certification (required)
* American Registry of Radiologic Techologist (ARRT) certification (required)
* CPR certification (required)
* Ability to lift/move patients and objects over 50 lbs.
* Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
Work Environment & Schedule
* Professional medical clinic setting with CR, PACS, and DR X-ray equipment
* Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, fax machines)
* Active role with frequent standing, walking, bending, and patient movement
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (non-exempt; hours may fluctuate)
* Travel: Minimal, occasional to outreach clinics
* Attire: Black scrubs
