Senior Actuary

We’re working with a leading reinsurance business that is continuing to grow its Dublin team and is now looking to hire aSenior Actuary.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a highly technical ALM-focused role within a business that has seen strong growth and continues to expand globally.

This role will suit an experienced actuary with a background inALM, investments, or financial reporting, who enjoys working on complex models and contributing to strategic initiatives.

You will play a key role in measuring and monitoring ALM risks across the balance sheet, while supporting wider strategic and reporting initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading quarterly production processes for ALM risk measurement (e.g. interest rate risk)
• Analysing results and communicating key insights to senior stakeholders
• Supporting ad hoc analysis including methodology updates and new business activity
• Driving automation and process improvements across reporting
• Contributing to the development of ALM models and infrastructure

• Qualified actuary with3+ years PQEand strong technical expertise
• Experience acrossALM, financial reporting, or investment xcfaprz modelling
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate complex results
• Experience working with actuarial and data tools (e.g. Excel, Prophet, Python, SQL, Power BI)
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
