Role responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to deliver projects and advise and assist key stakeholders on project proposals to develop Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions in Wales.
* Manage the delivery of EV charging projects and development of tools and services by applying robust project lifecycle methodologies, reporting and appropriate governance to deliver projects safely to time, cost and quality.
* Adhere to all relevant standards by ensuring the project delivery aligns with the Decarbonisation Programme’s objectives to support the Welsh Government policy.
* Establish and implement project plans by scheduling of all tasks, key milestones and resource management to ensure alignment with the wider Decarbonisation Programme.
* Maintain the TfW project Risk Register by identifying and managing risks, identifying actions to minimise impact on TfW and other stakeholders.







Who we’re looking for
* Relevant degree such as Business, Engineering (or similar) or equivalent experience.
* Have a project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 or similar.
* Experience of managing high profile and/or complex projects.
* Experience of managing projects through their whole lifecycle.
* Experience of managing a project budget, including forecasting and monitoring spend.





Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.

Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills. We fully support our people who want to improve their Welsh language skills, and personal development for Welsh Language skills are offered in a variety of ways such as online learning, classroom courses and funding attendance at local community courses.
