In This Role In this role, you will be responsible for transforming manual infrastructure and deployment processes into scalable, automated workflows. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to design, build, and maintain automation pipelines that support infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and environment management across development, testing, and production systems. You will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enhancing system reliability by implementing standardized CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scripting, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize deployment processes. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments Convert manual command-line and operational tasks into scalable automation workflows Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure environments Manage and support development, testing, and production environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, timelines, and delivery expectations Review and manage code changes through pull requests and version control workflows Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and pipeline-related issues to ensure system reliability Improve system performance, scalability, and monitoring through automation and optimization Develop and maintain technical documentation for deployment processes, automation scripts, and workflows Support database-related deployment activities, including validation and migration tasks Qualifications (Required) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash Experience working with version control systems and pull request workflows (e.g., Git) Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment processes Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues in cloud environments Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience designing and implementing infrastructure automation frameworks from scratch Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., logging, metrics, alerting systems) Exposure to database deployment processes and SQL-based systems Experience working in large-scale or enterprise cloud environments Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Experience supporting highly available, distributed systems Salary Range At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is
$125,000– $130,000 USD per annum.
Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
