Job Title : Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Type : C2C

Experience : 6-10 Years

Location : Boise, Idaho / Seattle, Washington / Franklin, Tennessee

Responsibilities:

At least 10 years of software development experience, and a minimum 5 years of experience in Snowflake development in AWS

Snowflake data engineers will be responsible for supporting data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.

A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing, and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse is a must.

Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake, developing scripts in Python to do Extract, Load, and Transform data

Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.

In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept, and modelling structure principles

Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done

Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.

Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements

Developing ETL pipelines in and out of the data warehouse using a combination of Python and Snowflakes SnowSQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using the Snowflake platform.

Implement and optimize data models in 4NF.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements. -

Develop ETL processes to integrate Teamcenter BOM data into Snowflake. - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

Proven experience with Snowflake and SQL. - Strong understanding of data modeling principles, especially 4NF.

Experience with Teamcenter and BOM data management. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
