Base pay range: $134,000.00/yr - $254,000.00/yr. The pay range provided is from Liberty Mutual Insurance and your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Responsibilities
Guide the development of system, technical and product standards based on business plans and long-term strategies Work in an agile environment that combines startup-like energy with the backing of a Fortune 100 company Operate as a strategic partner, supervising architecture migrations and maintaining relationships with vendors and business partners Mentor and coach junior software engineers, exercising your technical skills Develop technical requirements and design robust and flexible product and system architectures in collaboration with business partners Promote continuous improvement by identifying solutions that increase efficiency and accelerate adoption of new technologies
Qualifications
Ten years of related software engineering experience Comprehensive understanding of agile environments Extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks and emerging technologies Experience practicing DevOps and SecOps Strong background in business operations and strategies, including knowledge of global business, technology trends and the financial services industry
Skills
Solid negotiation, facilitation, consensus-building and influencing capabilities Ability to identify patterns and problems across teams and deliver effective solutions Openness and adaptability to respond to fast-moving circumstances Design thinking and test-driven development mindset Excellent oral and written communication skills and aptitude for teamwork
Knowledge
Demonstrated ability developing and architecting solutions using Salesforce CRM platform and related features (required); Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Agentforce desired Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and services (e.g., Lambda, S3, Athena, Aurora) Familiarity with Eventing Technology (Kafka) architectures and API-exposed microservices Deep understanding of layered solutions and designs Security considerations, including access control, authentication and secure SDLC processes Understanding of DCI/MDM systems, data ingestion and cloud-scale data sets
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience
