Are you a Senior Data Scientist ready to build and own an ML function from the ground up?

A fast-growing SaaS company based in Dublin is looking for its first Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of its intelligence layer. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity, offering the chance to shape, build, and scale the AI capability from day one. With over €20 million in funding and ambitious plans to become a global, billion-euro business, the company is well-positioned for rapid growth.

As the first hire in this space, you’ll work closely with an engineer and the founding team to define the product roadmap and deliver impactful ML-driven solutions. This role offers a unique balance of hands‑on technical work and strategic influence, with strong visibility across the business and a clear progression path into a leadership position.

• Design and build machine learning models to predict user behaviour and drive real‑time decision‑making
  
• Develop and deploy scalable, production‑grade ML systems within a SaaS environment
  
• Lay the groundwork for a growing AI function across the organisation.

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Science or ML Engineering, with strong Python skills
  
• Proven experience building and deploying ML models into production xcfaprz
  
• Solid understanding of experimentation techniques, including A/B testing, causal inference, and reinforcement learning
  
• Experience working in fast‑paced, product‑focused environments
  
• A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with the ability to thrive in greenfield settings
