Job Summary
Job Summary:
Working as the Director of Food Safety and Sanitation
you will be responsible to deliver solutions which will increase field calibration, food safety behaviors and quality assurance. This position will partner with account management, field services, clients and subject matter experts at all levels of the organization to identify and deliver best practices.
Additionally, will be responsible for performing on-site evaluations and training in the area of food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Field Services and Management to plan and implement training, observe operational standards, monitor best practices which drive field calibration and execution
Provide ongoing coaching to staff and independent contractors through phone calls, e-mails and face-to-face visits
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and customer base
Conduct on-site evaluations at customer locations (including food safety, workplace safety, brand standards and cleanliness)
Work with Company operations in solving customer issues and questions and assist in new program rollouts
Understand inspection requirements and train on evaluation protocols
Maintain professional credentials and remain knowledgeable on current state and federal industry regulations
Provide administrative reports and feedback
Establish guidelines for meeting food safety expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years in the food safety audit business and food service management
Registered sanitarian credentials or equivalent
Three to five years training, development and/or related experience
Self-directed and able to work independently
Ability to work with all levels of management within an organization
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Strong planning, coordination and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
Solid sense of integrity and ethics
