Title: Senior QA Software Engineer SDET, (C#, Selenium, SQL, API) Location: REMOTE Duration: One year Compensation: Market Rate Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Senior QA Software Engineer SDET, (C#, Selenium, SQL, API) You are a motivated Quality Assurance professional passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. You have experience with both automation and manual testing, with expertise in Selenium. You have a strong background in functional testing and a solid understanding of QA methodologies. What You'll Do Design and execute test plans to ensure the quality of our auction site. Develop and execute automated and manual tests to validate software functionality and performance. Document test cases, test results, and defects. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication and ensure that features meet business requirements and quality standards. Analyze complex user stories and break them down into comprehensive test cases. Offer expertise in QA methodologies and tools, providing guidance on best practices for testing C#, SQL, .NET, JSON, Node, and Angular-based applications. Lead root cause analysis efforts for defects impacting multiple platforms and systems. Communicate testing concepts and results effectively to non-technical team members. What You'll Need Expert knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, especially Selenium Experience with SQL. Coding experience is required, preferably in C#, JavaScript, and typescript. Experience designing and developing test plans that cover end-to-end workflows across multiple applications. 5+ years of QA experience. Strong knowledge of API testing with Postman. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify, track, and verify complex defects across multiple integrated applications. Ability to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced environment. Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Experience with web and mobile web testing on iOS and Android. Capacity to mentor and elevate the team's technical prowess. High resilience and ability to perform optimally under pressure. Nice to Have Experience with TestRail, Kafka, Kibana. Experience with Performance testing (JMeter) Experience with Playwright. Experience with testing applications deployed on Azure, including APIM and KeyVaults. Experience with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (and Azure pipeline). Experience with testing real-time communication applications using SignalR. Experience testing integrations across multiple backend systems using REST-based APIs.
