Business Development Representative (BDR) LaSalle Network has partnered with a global leader in Ecosystem Integration software to find their next generation of sales talent. Based in Chicago, IL, the organization provides a mission‑critical cloud platform that helps manufacturers, logistics providers, and retailers automate their supply chains.
As a BDR, you will be the engine of the sales organization. You will be responsible for identifying high‑potential accounts and initiating the first conversation with key decision‑makers. This is a high‑energy, high‑activity role designed for someone looking to build a long‑term career in Enterprise Software (SaaS).
Responsibilities
Utilize cold calling, strategic emailing, and social selling (LinkedIn) to engage C‑level executives and IT directors.
Evaluate potential clients’ needs and “pain points” to determine if their business is a fit for an enterprise integration platform.
Partner closely with Account Executives to develop territory plans and transition qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline.
Stay ahead of industry trends in supply chain, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and API management to position the company as a thought leader.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all outreach and prospect intelligence within Salesforce.
Qualifications
Completed bachelor’s degree.
At least 1 year of related sales experience.
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach/Salesloft) is a plus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Focus on the positive and strive for continual improvement.
Results oriented and driven to carve out a career path within the field of sales.
We are looking for individuals who want to be promoted. This role is a training ground for future Account Executives and Account Managers.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $60,000 annual salary + commission.
Benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision.
Flexible PTO.
401(k) Match.
Hybrid work environment – 3 days on site in the Chicago office.
Start Date: Jan 2026.
