Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer Consultant with expertise in Microsoft technologies and a strong background in network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of our network, data, and server services through monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve our IT systems.
Requirements 5+ years of experience with MS System Center - Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) Intune/MDM 3+ years of experience with MS GCC HIGH Tenant 5+ years of experience in projects involving Pub1075 regulations, implementations, and/or audits 5+ years of experience with Change Management 3+ years of experience with User access permissions and role-based access controls in Active Directory 5+ years of experience with Local Area Network (LAN) AND Virtual LAN (VLAN) 5+ years of experience with Virtualization - VMware Experience working directly for a State Agency Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field Preferences
Experience with STIG Hardening Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud Architecture Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure Proficiency in Shell Scripting Industry Certifications such as MCP, MCSE
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff, contribute to a growing knowledge network, and collaborate extensively with peers and management.
