About the programme:

Kick-start your career in one of the most innovative and fast-growing sectors of construction.


At Alucraft, our Graduate Designer Programme is designed to give you hands‑on experience, structured development, and a clear pathway into a long‑term career within the façade industry.


Over the course of two years, you will rotate across key areas of the business, gaining exposure to design, engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery. You will work alongside experienced professionals on high‑profile, large‑scale projects, contributing directly to the delivery of world‑class buildings.


Founded in 1975, with over 50 years experience, Alucraft has grown to become Ireland’s leading specialist contractor in the design, manufacture, and installation of architectural glazing systems. We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and modern methods of construction, continually improving how we design and deliver our projects.


Based in Dublin, this role also includes occasional site visits, giving you real‑world insight into how your designs are brought to life.


What you will work on:

You will gain experience across a wide range of façade systems, including:



  • Stick curtain walling
  • Unitised curtain walling
  • Point‑fixed glazing

Projects span multiple sectors including:



  • Healthcare

Programme outcome & career pathway:

Upon successful completion of the 2-year programme, you will be offered a permanent full‑time position within the business, with the opportunity to move into a role that best aligns with your strengths and interests – whether in design, technical development, project delivery, or site‑based roles.

Key Requirements:

Honours Degree (or equivalent) in:



  • Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering
  • Manufacturing & Design Engineering
  • Product Design
  • Architecture or Architectural Technology


  • Strong interest in the façade / construction industry
  • Motivated, proactive, and adaptable
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
