Role responsibilities
- Procuring subcontractors and materials, including issuing and agreeing tender/specialist packages.
- Monitoring project costs and managing variations with the Contracts Manager/Senior QS.
- Completing take-offs and handling contract administration.
- Managing material approvals.
- Preparing monthly cost reports and payment claim applications.
Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on medium to large-scale projects (Civil, Residential, Commercial, or Groundworks).
- Strong teamwork abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications, with advanced skills in Excel.
