The UMass Memorial Health Ronald McDonald Care Mobile delivers an innovative, community-based model of medical services and preventive dental care to the vulnerable, socioeconomically disadvantaged,
uninsured
and undocumented children and their families living in Worcester County.
The Care
Mobile services 28 Worcester public and charter schools with nine neighborhood sites across the city and surrounding towns. Our routine sites include neighborhood and community centers, churches, and apartment complexes.
The
advanced practice
position needs to be an
FNP or PA, as
we see children and adults, with a minimum of 1-day shift per month which will be 6-7 hours (typically, 9am-4pm) on
the Care
Mobile or in the community
.
We are seeking a per diem FNP or PA to cover our clinic 2-3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) from June to December 2026, with a reduced schedule of 1-2 days per month and vacation coverage as needed thereafter. Highlights of the position

License/Certification/Education
Require
ments: A
Bachelor s
degree and Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current Massachusetts license, issued by the Physician Assistant Board, and current NCCPA certification.
A Master s
degree
and graduation from an accredited
Family
Nurse Practitioner program.
Board Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration are
required
.
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience
