Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovation solutions? Join our team! The IT Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with functional and development teams to ensure enterprise applications meet customer expectations and integrate well with the rest of the SNC IT landscape. This position will be responsible for comprehensive testing of software applications, through test plan creation, test case (manual and/or automated) development and test case execution, that support the business. This position will document all issues found as part of the software application testing and will work with appropriate development resources to resolve them. This person will provide testing progress status (via test execution results) and problem resolution status to management as required and should be able to identify and recommend improvements to current processes and procedures that will enhance and increase the efficiency of future software applications testing. This person will help to define the testing strategy and automation strategy with the IT Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the IT Quality Assurance team is utilizing the most efficient processes and procedures for execution of testing.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities

Champion Quality Engineering efforts during sprint cycles for SNC's MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Program Work as a member of an Agile team providing input during all Agile ceremonies Review user story requirements, designs, and acceptance criteria to provide timely and meaningful feedback for robust story details Participate in defect triage to identify any quality assurance parameters needed for product enhancements and solutioning Develop comprehensive test plans by analyzing user stories, participating in design reviews and collaborating with Agile team members and business stakeholders Ensure software is of high quality to confirm business, technical, and functional requirements as well as intended use of the technology Design system, regression, and integration tests to validate application releases Create comprehensive test data to support test cases Execute manual or automated tests based on test strategy/plans Support testing processes from manual testing to automated testing Provide concise and accurate documentation of software defects and issues Report test results to support story sign off by Product Owner and Business Stakeholders Qualifications The Employee Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 10 or more years of relevant experience Higher education may substitute for relevant experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education 10+ years' experience in software testing methodologies, techniques and approaches for manual and automated testing Qualifications We Prefer

Working knowledge of Agile development methodology and Scrum Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in creation and deployment of successful automation test strategies that supports shift left initiatives Experience testing on the Delmia Apriso platform

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
