WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Technical Requirements and Certifications "

Certification as a MS SQL DBA.

Education and Experience "

BS in computer science or related engineering field (preferred).

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience: 8 Years of Experience in the below required:

Experience with SQL database and services in supporting application development teams. Experience with current and legacy versions of SQL. Collaborate with developers and project team members, analyze requirements user requirements, model data structures, and create efficient database schemas. Experience writing complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and update data within the database.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in PowerBI with reporting or database analysis. Experience with supporting Oracle databases for Java applications. Experience in the migration of application databases to a new platform.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "

Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2019, 2022: 8 Years. SQL SSIS: 8 Years. SQL SSRS: 8 Years. SQL SSAS: 8 Years. Visual Studio: 8 years. Ability to navigate and query relational database to develop reports: 8 Years. Create database objects: 8 Years. Database security: 8 Years. Database schema management - creation, inserts, deletes, etc.: 8 Years. Database links and multiple database instances: 8 Years. Redgate Comparison tool: 5 years. Database Tuning and Maintenance to assure highest level of system availability and performance: 5 Years. Database monitoring tools: 5 Years. Logical database design: 3 Years. PL/SQL: 4 Years. Exceptional candidate skills would include:

Knowledge of Oracle including stored procedures and SQL Tuning. Oracle 19c system level experience. Oracle database security, synonyms, roles, privileges. Oracle data dictionary views. Oracle PL/SQL unit testing. Oracle SQL tuning. Informatica. Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
