Outsourced Services Relationship Manager

The Manager of Outsourced Services Relationship Management is responsible for overseeing the operational relationship with its outsourced providers. This includes contracted services such as Post, Courier, Archiving, Print Services and onsite third‑party logistic resources. The role ensures services are delivered to agreed standards, performance is monitored, risks are managed, and stakeholder needs are represented. This position is purely governance‑focused and does not involve direct operational delivery.


Location: Dublin 2, as part of our hybrid working model.


Grade: Manager

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with outsourced service providers.
  • Excellent relationship management
  • Strong communication and escalation management skills.
  • Budget management, forecasting & cost control.
  • Excellent knowledge of GDPR, secure logistic handling and chain‑of‑custody procedures
  • Experience in soft services – Post, Courier, Archiving, Print (desirable skill)
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract management (desirable skill)
  • Familiarity with digital workflow platforms (desirable skill)

Vendor Relationship & Governance

  • Act as the primary liaison between the organisation and the outsourced provider across a range of administration and building services.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship while ensuring accountability.
  • Ensure effective communication pathways between internal stakeholders and the provider.
  • Ownership of chain of custody procedures across designated services, including coordination between off‑site third‑party providers and on‑site third‑party logistic resources.
  • Represent the team and coordinate with wider KPMG support functions to deliver an enhanced client experience; represent the team as part of business continuity planning.

Performance Management

  • Monitor provider performance against SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
  • Analyse performance trends and identify improvement areas.
  • Drive and oversee service improvement plans.
  • Validate reporting and challenge underperformance.
  • Ensure third‑party compliance with IT & security access protocols.

Issue Resolution & Risk Management

  • Serve as escalation point for service issues, providing an internal view.
  • Ensure timely resolution of complaints and service failures.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and chain‑of‑custody requirements.
  • Deliver root‑cause analysis for service failures and associated remediation plans.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to understand needs.
  • Capture and address stakeholder feedback.
  • Represent the organisation’s interests in all provider interactions.

Strategic Improvement & Service Development

  • Identify opportunities to enhance service efficiency and user experience.
  • Encourage innovation and best practice.
  • Support future service design and transformation initiatives.
