Responsibilities
Establish and maintain scalable, reliable, secure, and developer-friendly systems and infrastructure.
Develop software and systems to enhance the overall developer experience.
Partner with engineering teams to identify and implement solutions that improve product reliability, quality, and time-to-market.
Collaborate closely with the Security team to ensure system security and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
Lead complex technical initiatives and drive organizational improvements across various teams.
Provide mentorship to DevOps and Software Engineers through design reviews and technical guidance.
Work with engineering leadership to establish technical direction and best practices for infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD.
Uphold a high standard for the quality of system architecture and design, while maintaining simplicity.
Be available for periodic "on-call" duties during non-working hours, as planned and required by the team.
Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering, demonstrating increasing scope and impact.
Cloud Platforms:
Extensive experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including the architecture, deployment, and scaling of complex production systems.
DevOps Practices:
Proven experience with observability, automation, performance engineering in cloud environments, and Continuous Integration and Delivery.
Containerization & Orchestration:
Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications, and strong knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments.
Infrastructure as Code:
Familiarity with Crossplane and Terraform for managing infrastructure abstractions.
Monitoring:
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Programming:
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
Networking & Security:
Experience with API Gateway and/or Service Mesh, implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure access control, and familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for fine‑grained access management.

This position requires the candidate to be located in one of company's designated geohubs: San Francisco/Bay Area, New York, or Boston.
