As a
Software Engineer II
in Windows applications, you will work with a talented team of engineers to
design, develop, and
optimize
Windows applications and
operating
system components.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing new features for several Windows applications and operating system components.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimizing application performance and ensuring high-quality user experiences.
Identifying and fixing bugs and issues in existing codebases.
Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Focus on customer needs through a data driven approach
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#,Java,Swiftor Kotlin
OR equivalent experience
2+ years of demonstrated industry experience in software development
Demonstrated Industry experience with Windows development tools and frameworks.
Demonstrated Industry experience developing applications on Windows or on MacOS/iOS/Android.
Other Requirements
Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check
: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C++, C#,Java,Swiftor Kotlin
o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C# , Java, Swift or Kotlin
o OR equivalent experience.

demonstrated
industry experience
working directly
with C++,
C#
or equivalent languages such as Java.
Experience building and shipping Windows apps is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies is a plus.
Prior experience supporting model training or fine-tuning workflows in production is a plus.
Demonstratedproblem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
