Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to join the Private Brand Analytics Center (PBAC) team in Bellevue, WA or Plantation, FL. This is a technical position for a seasoned professional who will play a critical role in building their industry leading Private Brand Analytics Platform. This leader should get hands-on with analytics to drive business insights that will help manage Private Brand portfolio at scale. With a wealth of data at your fingertips, you will perform exploratory analysis, design experiments, and build models to deliver insights that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and promote the Chewy brand.

The ideal candidate has proven experience integrating and scaling data applications, exemplary data visualization skills, and a knack for delivering scalable data architecture. The ideal candidate excels at developing and delivering in fast-paced problem sets and building trust to partner cross-functionally. This individual is highly proficient in program management and has proven experience delivering high quality results with minimal direction from leadership. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as this role will interface directly with cross-functional teams to roll out new tools, communicate infrastructure changes, and advocate data best practices.

What You'll Do:

Proactively assess the data needs of Private Brand team and related functions and partner with data engineering teams to prioritize and QA development of new data tables, metrics, and products

Lead efforts to automate data extraction and sending of files to multiple stakeholders

Partner directly with Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Corporate IT teams to evaluate data products and integrate new tools and technology

Own and continually improve metrics documentation and data governance

Construct and deliver product roadmaps that deliver insightful and user-friendly dashboards for both internal and external customers

Partner with IT teams to construct downstream impact analysis and own change management communication for customer data sources

What You'll Need:

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or a related degree with analytics and quantitative and technical emphasis; MBA or Masters in Analytics preferred

Minimum 4 years developing dashboards, automating data processes, and building scalable analytics solutions, preferably in an ecommerce or retail setting

Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with cloud-based data storage and extraction processes

Advanced Tableau skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proven experience delivering high quality and insightful data visualizations and translating complex data into actionable insights

Exemplary stakeholder management and prioritization skills using systems, processes, and scalable frameworks

Proven experience delivering large scale analytics initiatives on tight timelines

Superior attention to detail and experience building processes to validate data integrity

Proven experience leading teams and delivering results in ambiguous and resource constrained environments

Travel may be required

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Pay Range

$134,500—$215,000 USD
