JOB LOCATION:
You MUST reside in the Oklahoma City metro area or be in the process of relocating to the OKC metro area in order to be considered for this position because this is not a remote position.

Hybrid work-schedule:
Typically, 3 workdays will be onsite at the corporate office in Oklahoma City, and 2 workdays can be remote. This may change depending on business need.
BASIC PURPOSE
:
The eLearning Graphic Designer is responsible for creating the visual elements of eLearning courses and other training materials for the Talent Development team. This includes the creation and design of learning and practicing experiences, as well as the creation of learning courses including graphics, animation, video and audio. This role will effectively assist in the process of acquiring and retaining knowledge, skills, and competencies for all learners in an appealing and engaging manner.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop instructionally sound, engaging, and interactive digital learning solutions.
Design graphics and animated content for learning courses, programs and resources using Adobe Create Suite and Adobe Captivate.
Create compelling presentations and educational tools that enhance learning engagement and knowledge retention.
Collaborate with the Talent Development team to produce, review and/or revise learning content.
Partner with subject-matter experts to clarify learning needs, develop course outlines, design documents, storyboards, and other learning design deliverables.
Create graphic design content that aligns and achieves instructional design goals.
Visualize engaging and instructional graphics that tell a story and compliments the overall learning experience.
Adhere to strict brand guidelines as well as other graphical and written standards.
Apply tested instructional design and graphic design theories, practices and methods.
Develop supporting training content (including audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) to enhance the learning process.
Provide feedback on the criteria used to evaluate a learner’s performance and assist in the development of assessment instruments.
Maintain project documentation and course folders.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Minimum of a BA/BS in graphic design, instructional design, educational technology or similar.
Experience:
Proficiency with Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, Acrobat, Microsoft Applications, Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Minimum: 1-year graphic or instructional design related experience.
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Skills:
Hard skills: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Captivate and Microsoft Office. HR specific software knowledge a plus. Proven working experience in instructional design, graphic design and with instructional technology a plus. Excellent knowledge of design theories, learning theories and instructional design models. Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier) and ability to storyboard.
Soft Skills: Willingness and ability to learn from other departments, good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, ability to take constructive criticism and strong work ethic.
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
