Description
Ring is seeking a Business Analyst to own, design, and maintain subscriptions reporting and business planning processes. We are passionate about our mission and look for a similarly passionate analyst to drive forecasting and reporting, strategic assessments, project valuation, and data analysis. This is a key role where, as a member of the subscriptions team, you will ensure that the customer journey is being effectively defined and measured in order to drive both a better customer experience and subscription growth on a global scale.
You will focus on deep diving underlying input drivers, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, GTM, Product, and Sales partners to connect outputs and translate them into insights to inform and execute business decisions. You will identify & monitor key drivers influencing subscription performance (e.g., acquisition, cost-to-serve, monetization, retention, etc.) and help be the voice of the customer as you work with data and subscriptions leaders to set the strategy and define the future roadmap. A successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with BI and Finance to create comprehensive operational plans and financial models for subscription revenue, growth, and profitability.
Establish and maintain performance measurement framework, including key metrics (e.g., ARR, ARPU, Churn, etc.) to be leveraged during business reviews and operational planning
Track business performance against goals and contribute to goal reviews with leadership; develop and implement policies and programs to maintain and improve profitability
Work with cross-functional partners to deliver projects such as new program/product launches, innovations, and cohort analysis that help us better serve customers.
Dive deep into subscriptions analytics and customer feedback, discovering and evangelizing insights within the team and across the organization.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
Experience with Excel
Experience with SQL
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
