The Opportunity We're looking for a
Senior Network Engineer
who wants to own something meaningful. You'll be the technical architect behind our enterprise network infrastructure—designing scalable campus networks, hybrid cloud architectures, and resilient WAN connectivity that supports corporate operations and enables business growth.
This isn't a "ticket queue" role. You'll lead
modernization initiatives , design
highly available enterprise architectures , and solve complex problems across
data center, campus, cloud, and WAN environments . You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge technology while partnering with security teams, cloud engineers, application owners, and C‑suite leadership.

What You’ll Build
Design and deploy
enterprise campus LAN/WLAN
infrastructures across corporate and operational sites
Lead
core network refresh projects
(switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers)
Architect
highly available data center and campus solutions
using vPC, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, stacking, redundancy protocols
Design and manage
hybrid cloud networking
in Azure and AWS (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPCs, transit gateways, VNets, peering)
Optimize
routing protocols
(OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) across enterprise WAN and cloud connectivity
Configure and manage
firewall/VPN infrastructure
for secure remote access and site‑to‑site connectivity
Implement
SD‑WAN
solutions for branch connectivity and application performance
Partner with
corporate IT, security, and cloud teams
to deliver integrated solutions
Monitor network health, perform root cause analysis, participate in on‑call rotations
Translate technical solutions into business value for stakeholders
What You Bring Non‑Negotiables
10+ years enterprise network engineering experience
in corporate IT environments
Cisco CCNP
(required or strongly preferred)
+ CCNA
(required)
Deep expertise in
routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, data center technologies
Hands‑on
hybrid cloud networking experience
(Azure and/or AWS)
Enterprise campus and data center
design experience
Production environment ownership mentality
– comfortable with on‑call, high‑pressure incidents, accountability for uptime
Strong communication skills – ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders
Ability to manage competing priorities and willingness to do what’s needed
Technical Expertise Enterprise switching (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus) | Data center networking (vPC, Nexus, spine‑leaf) | Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) | Firewall/VPN infrastructure (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) | Cloud networking (Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, VPCs, SD‑WAN) | Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba) | Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, CloudWatch) | WAN technologies (MPLS, DIA, Metro‑E, carrier management)
Nice to Have
Energy sector experience (oil & gas, utilities, power generation)
Network security certifications (CCSP, CCNA Security, Palo Alto PCNSE)
Location
Primary:
Fort Worth, TX (strongly preferred)
Alternative:
Denver, CO (considered for exceptional candidates)
Occasional travel (10-20%) | Hybrid flexibility with core on‑site presence
